Tonight’s the night! Our Lady Bobcats will be celebrating our future players during their game at 6PM! All girls from elementary and middle school who plan to play basketball in high school are invited! So come on out and cheer on our teams as they take on Elysian Fields, starting with JV Boys at 5PM!
Attention all Class of 2024 Graduates; To receive your Charles C. Matthews scholarship, you will need to submit your Fall 2024 college transcript to Mr. Davis at the front office by Wednesday, January 8th! We will supply you the thank you card that you must also submit!
Christmas break is still on but don't forget on Friday, January 3rd, the Lady Cat Basketball players will celebrate our future Lady Cats when they play against Elysian Fields, where they will recognize any Elementary or Middle School girls that are looking forward to playing basketball for the Lady Cats in the future! Christmas may be on all of our minds but Gary ISD's next big celebration will be Homecoming week, January 7th-10th! Check out our Homecoming dress up days from the Gary HS cheerleaders, and be sure to come out loud and proud for our Homecoming Pep-Rally on Friday, January 10th at 1PM for our second Lip Sync Battle competition! That night, we will crown our Homecoming King and Queen, then take on Joaquin starting at 5PM, with Saturday capping off the festivities with our Homecoming dance!
Save the date, on January 3rd we will have a Future Lady Cat event to celebrate all Elementary and Junior High girls that are interested in playing basketball in High School! The game starts at 6PM and we will have a little 'surprise' for all the girls who attend after the game ends! We hope to see all of you future Lady Cats there!

Yesterday, our JH OAP competed at their district contest and the results are in!
This is a special group and what they did yesterday was special! Lots of individual award and straight 1’s - known as a “picket fence” when all three judges rank you first!

Tomorrow is the start of our Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament! Gary Varsity will play at 11AM at the HS Gym, the girls will start at 9:45AM at the HS Gym, and the JV Boys will also play at 1:30PM! This is going to be a great few days so come check out all the teams that are competing for the win!

Bryan Robles is our latest GAP graduate at Gary High School. We are very proud of his hard work and the success he had in the program. We look forward to seeing what he will do next out in the world!

Yesterday, our JH and HS eSports teams competed at the Region 7 E-Sports Winter Cup tournament where Luke, Judson, and Jireh won 1st place in the JH Division and Shaun, Hunter, and Jonas won 4th in the HS Division! The Elementary is running a Penny Drive all through the rest of this week and next!
