Pink gave it a good run with over 105 staff members and students dressed out in their Pink best, but Blue blew everyone out of the water with almost 150 staff members and students dressed out! Thank you to everyone that participated in our Color War!

Unfortunately, due to the weather, the Haunted Trail will not open until tomorrow night.

It was wonderful seeing everyone decked out in their princess best and pirate worst! Tomorrow is the color war between the following colors; Blue, White, Green, Purple or Pink! The color with the majority wins the war! Also, we ask that students at secondary do not wear hats tomorrow with their outfits.

Of course, we can't forget about our secondary crew and royalty!

Here are some more of our fancy ladies and fearsome pirates!

We had a lot of princess and pirates at our district today! Check out some of our awesome participants!

Calling all bakers! The Freshmen class is in need of cakes for the Cake Walk at the Fall Festival. Please bring all cakes to the Elementary or High School offices tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday.
Reminder-most teachers are offering a perk in their class for donated cakes. Each cake will need a form filled out with the designated teacher circled. There are extra forms in both offices. Limit of one cake per class.
Thank you from the Class of 2027!

"LDEs" or Leadership Development Events are "speaking events" that FFA Members compete in each year at the district, area and state levels. This year we have 20 students competing in 7 different events. These teams/individuals enter a room with judges and present their script/presentation fully memorized and in full "official FFA dress" at each event to those judges who critique them on their speaking abilities, answering questions and their presentations.
Last week they competed at their first "invitational" (much like a sports tournament) at Longview High School against 38 schools where our placings were extremely promising as we prepare for District (11/7)! There are 23 schools in our district (FFA isn't broken down into size of school, but instead only by location on a map) and 110 schools in our area. We have to be in the top 3 teams in the district to advance to the area contest.
