Gary Culinary students led a presentation about seeds growing into the food we eat and talked about how we use what we grow in the culinary garden in our salads.(Last month the same kids got to sprout bean seeds in Ziploc bags to see how the seeds sprout.)
This week the 3rd and 4th graders planted "Radish Kids". They made a face with silly stickers on a biodegradable pot, and when the radish leaves grow, they will look like the hair.
