What is the focus of the Leader in Me program? Leader in Me helps students focus on academics, leadership, and culture. As our teachers grow with the program, it allows them to teach students how to become leaders and helps to create a culture of student empowerment. When students believe in themselves, they can accomplish academic goals.

Gary Elementary School chose in 2021 to become a Leader in Me school. Since the program's adoption, we have added the 8 Habits of Happy Kids.
